Maistra presents a unique monograph "FLAVOURS OF ISTRIA "

Maistra Hospitality Group, the leading Croatian tourism company in the luxury segment, presented a unique monograph: "FLAVOURS OF ISTRIA" which brought together the gastronomic charms and impeccable flavors of Istria. The monograph presents a different experience of Istria through four seasons and four types of soil woven into the gourmet offer of the Maistra Collection Hotel, especially the Cap Aureo, the signature restaurant of the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj.

Maistra Hospitality Group, part of the Adris Group and one of the leading Croatian tourism companies, is known for its high-quality hotels, resorts, and camps in the most attractive Croatian destinations. Maistra Collection hotels in Rovinj offer a combination of luxury, relaxation, and gourmet experiences. Istria, known for its traditional cuisine that reflects historical and climatic features, is a unique gastronomic destination with many celebrated local oil producers, truffle producers, and winemakers. “FLAVUORS OF ISTRIA” was made in honor of Istria and local producers who helped make it one of the most popular culinary regions.

Chef Jeffrey J. Vella, author Hrvoje Petrić, photographer Mario Kučera, and the Beton design agency were the talented team of professionals responsible for creating the book. The monograph consists of photographs of Istria and its small local producers and is created as a luxurious coffee table book. A selection of recipes from the Cap Aureo restaurant, curated by Chef Vella himself, are carefully placed at the end of the book for all to enjoy. All recipes were curated using local and seasonal ingredients from four Istrian regions: blue, red, white, and gray.
